A Rare Photo Op

Here is a picture of our boy doing something besides swimming. Sorry for all of the pictures of the same thing but Gus just wants to swim. We have ducks that want to sit on "Gus's" pier but he chases them away pronto  Don't screw with Gus, he does not tolerate duck  poop on his ramp!!!!.



Swimming Partners

Gus and Ang take time out from their busy day for a photo op!! Not sure Gus wanted to take the time to do this but too bad. LOL Not sure what we will do when winter comes, anyone in Florida looking to adopt?

After a hard day on the lake

Gus looks like he has had enough fun for one day and is in need of a quiet nights rest. The little Guy doesn't want to swim anymore, he expects it!!!! He usually is a very calm dog after all day in the water.



Have drool, will swim

OK, maybe it is not drool but I just caught Gus with a mouthful of water. If Gus did slobber like that I am afraid his days of being a housedog would be over!  LOL

A day at the island

Took Gus out to the island for some play time. What a surprise, he decided to spend most of his time neck deep in water. He also did some exploring and rooting for smelly things to eat. I wonder if he knows summer is almost over. Remember to click on any picture to enlarge it if you wish.

Waiting Patiently

Gus waits with great patience as I empty the dehumidifier from downstairs. He would love to come down and "help"  but I can only stand so much help from him at a given time! LOL

Pretty Boy

Gus appears to have a look of an angel but my guess he is looking for help from above for some devilish thing he has done and about to pay for. This is more of his moms work as Ang did this from a photo.

Bobbing for Apples????

Looks like Gus is bobbing for apples, doesn't it? He actually will feel rocks and dive down for them. Not sure what he or I, for that matter, do when summer ends. Guess we have about a month to worry about that.
