Holy Cow! I had company!!!!

People even paid attention to me as well. Dad still put my collar on as I get so excited I sometimes need "reminded" to behave. It was lots of fun and ended way to soon if you ask me.

Up Periscope

The master of disaster waiting on me to throw his toy again. This photo was enhanced by my wife. We think it is pretty neat.

Hope everybody is not getting sick of swimming photos cuz Gus ain't sick of swimming!! The recent heat wave has even made things worse as he almost demands to go at every chance. The nice thing is he gets so much exercise that our walks are much shorter.

I never realized the tube even said that but as I looked at the picture I thought it was quite fitting. Just not much Gus won't try on the water and he doesn't mind floating on this thing. Problem is he thinks the handles are chew toys so he might be banned from this thing!

A Dogs Life...

Here our boy is "on full alert". He is not doing justice to the Rottweilers awful reputation,is he? Gus is no doubt resting up for another swim session.

Tiny Bubbles...!

Gus is getting another bath, although as hot as it is I think he does not mind. He is anxious to get back to swimming and having fun. Smelling pretty doesn't seem to excite him in the least.

After a long walk, bath and swim time we get Gus to pose with his mom for a quick picture. He was not impressed. This guy would swim until he would drown if we let him. I let him go as long as possible as our little guy sleeps pretty good all night. Not to mention Gus owes his mom big time for doing a super job on his web site so all can enjoy him.

Thought we would throw this on as Gus has improved his singing a little bit since the first take! We have been busy swimming and boating along with walks on the golf course.Summer life agrees with our little devil dog.

Lots of action

Gus loves springtime. After a rather dull winter he now has joggers ,golfers, boaters and fisherman to watch. I think he would love to play with anyone who would let him but has no takers. Too bad he needs some fun.

Hi all, thought we would blog on the newest addition to our family...Gus. Dogs have been a major part of my life. As a youngster I trained and hunted with several beagles moving my way into duck hunting and field trialing Labradors and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. That is when I met my future wife who worked at the veterinarian where I took my dogs. That was over twenty-five years ago. I also had my first rottweiler when we met and have had several more over the years. After putting my last rott to sleep in April we have been without a dog for the first time in nearly forty years!! After a long search we think and hope we have found our next dog who we already have named Gus. At this point he is three weeks old and in five more we will have our next spoiled rotten bundle of joy.
