The Pinball Wizard......Busted!!!!!

Looks like Gus is enjoying his dads pinball machine, doesn't it? The machine was always in the basement at our lake house, where he was not allowed. The first time I played this in front of him after the move
he went nuts giving me the idea for the picture.



Batman

Gus was out like a light right before I took this picture. At times he loves sleeping on his back. Gus has not had lots of excercise but with our move complete and duck season over he will be getting more walks and such.

First storm of the winter!!

Gus does enjoy the snow so he is not upset in the least about this little storm. His winter walks in the woods have resumed which is good as he really needed excercise and leg stretching after our move. He was pretty much negleted while we moved as we didn't need or want his help. LOL



Gonna Miss U Lake Manitou

It looks like Gus knows we sold the lake house and are moving back to the country. The little guy will really be sad as I think the lake was as much in his blood as it is in mine. Life rolls on.

Gus wins again

There was no doubt in Gus's mind who would end up with the ball. He really likes to play keep away with it once he gets control of the ball and runs like the wind with it.

From Sea to Land

Gus still needs to get rid of excess energy and playing with "his" orange ball is just the ticket! He will chase that sucker all day long and with the cooler days I will let him. He always loves the chase and hates to quit having fun. Don't forget that you can click on a picture to enlarge it.



Enjoying the sun

Gus is enjoying the sun while he still has the chance.
I think he knows summer is winding down as his swim time is just about over for the year.



Leaps tall buildings in a single bound!!!!

Here Gus shows what you can be with a daily swimming workout. One day the neighbor was standing at the top of the wall and said Gus's name and Gus jumped out of the water and in one bounce scaled the wall as well!  I knew the little guy could jump but even I was impressed with the ease at which he accomplised this. I was more impressed when I measured the wall and seawall and was surprised that the seawall was higher than the block wall. The seawall is 46 inches high and the block wall is 44 inches. The boy has springs in his legs.

A Rare Photo Op

Here is a picture of our boy doing something besides swimming. Sorry for all of the pictures of the same thing but Gus just wants to swim. We have ducks that want to sit on "Gus's" pier but he chases them away pronto  Don't screw with Gus, he does not tolerate duck  poop on his ramp!!!!.
